Looking Back at a Successful River Cleanup Day on the Tobacco River
Last weekend, we had an incredible turnout for our annual River Cleanup Day on the Tobacco River. Over 50 community members came together, and their collective efforts resulted in the removal of more than 1,000 pounds of debris and trash from the riverbanks. This significant accomplishment has greatly improved the health of the river and strengthened our community bonds. Reflecting on this event, we are immensely grateful for the dedication and hard work of our volunteers. This successful cleanup is a testament to what we can achieve when we work together. We look forward to maintaining this momentum in our ongoing efforts to protect our local waterways.
