Pure Waters

Pure Waters focuses on improving the health of our local waterways through community clean-up events, where volunteers remove litter, plastic, and other pollutants from rivers and streams. These efforts create cleaner habitats for aquatic life, enhance the natural beauty of our waterways for recreational use, and foster a sense of environmental stewardship within the community. By engaging the public in awareness campaigns, educational programs, and regular clean-up activities, Pure Waters aims to ensure that our rivers and streams remain pristine for future generations.

Restoring Floodplains

Restoring Floodplains aims to protect and rehabilitate floodplain areas, which are vital for controlling floods and providing habitats for diverse species. This project includes planting native vegetation, removing invasive species, and reinforcing riverbanks to prevent erosion. By restoring these natural areas, we help maintain the ecological balance and ensure that floodplains can continue to perform their essential functions.

Green Canopy

Green Canopy focuses on forest health by identifying and safely removing diseased or dead trees. This project also involves planting native trees and shrubs to restore forest cover, improve biodiversity, and create resilient ecosystems. Through sustainable practices and community involvement, Green Canopy aims to enhance the natural beauty and ecological stability of our forests.

Busy Beavers

Busy Beavers addresses the ecological impact of beaver populations on local waterways. By monitoring beaver activity, we aim to balance their role in the ecosystem with the need to prevent flooding and damage to infrastructure. This project involves ethical population control measures, habitat management, and community education to ensure a harmonious coexistence between beavers and human activities.
