Project 1: Pure Waters

Objective: Cleaning up debris from public streams.

Description: Pure Waters focuses on improving the health of our local waterways by organizing community clean-up events. Volunteers gather to remove litter, plastic, and other pollutants from rivers and streams, ensuring clean and safe habitats for aquatic life. These efforts also enhance the natural beauty of our waterways for recreational use.

Areas of Focus:

  • Public Awareness and Participation: Engaging the community through awareness campaigns, educational programs, and volunteer recruitment to foster a culture of environmental stewardship.
  • Removal of Debris and Pollutants: Conducting regular clean-up activities to remove trash, plastics, and other harmful pollutants from streams and riverbanks.
  • Monitoring Water Quality: Collaborating with local environmental agencies to monitor water quality, ensuring that the streams are healthy and safe for wildlife and human activities.
